Inspiration can come from anything or anyone. If you're newly engaged and worried that wedding planning isn't your thing, try drawing inspiration something that is. Art, food, fashion and yes, even the NFL can serve as endless inspiration for your wedding day decor. Last night I was ogling the Rodarte Spring 2010 runway and was reminded of this mystical purple and green South Carolina wedding designed by Colin Cowie. As you know, some of us were treated to a personal studio visit with Coline Cowie during our Brides.com field trip and got to hear the design guru discuss wedding details in person. Maybe Rodarte got wind of this wedding as well. How else can you explain the endless similarities in color, texture, shape and form that define their newest collection? From the bold geometric shapes that decorate both the runway model's arms and the designed dance floor to the rich purple hues that run throughout, I can't help but see parallels in every little design detail.
