School Beauty Tips

By Marsha Kragthorpe

If you take good care of your skin and try to keep it healthy by giving it all that your skin needs, you can surely slow down the aging process of your skin. Beauty is all about how you maintain it. There are a few beauty tips that can help you ward off the wrinkles from your skin, fade away the patches that aging process adds to your skin and keep it as soft and supple as it always was. If you love your skin, never say I looked beautiful some years ago, say I am beautiful, and will always be.

Talking about the ageless beauty, there a few ways that can help you rejuvenate your skin and keep it as young as ever.

1. Try a Sensual Milk bath at home by creating a skin rejuvenating Spa. Create this healthy spa by adding a cup of powdered milk along with a tablespoon of grape seed oil to your bathing water. You can also add your favorite essential oil, in order to add that aromatic touch. The lactic acid present in the whole milk, helps in exfoliating the dead cells from the skin. The grape seed oil has oxidants that nourish your skin, and the essential oils helps in giving the entire mood a powerful lift and reducing your stress levels.

2. With age, generally the elbows get dark, hard and wrinkled. You should make it a practice of exfoliating the dry skin from the elbow while bathing everyday and then after the bath apply slices of grapefruit under your elbow for around 15 minutes. This helps in making them soft again, and also helps in reducing the darkness in the skin if any.

3. Lemon juice is a well known detoxifying agent and helps in taking out the toxins from the body. Starting your day with a lemon drink helps you flush out all the impurities that have been accumulated in your body. If your body is free of toxins, it makes your skin more radiant.

4. Collagen is an essential component that helps in protecting your skin from wrinkling and also helps in preserving the youthful looks. For women above the age of 50, this supplement of collagen is highly advisable. Blueberries are a high source of collagen, and so should be added in the diet for at least 2 to 3 times a week.

5. Even your lips need skin care. To keep your lips soft, line free and kissable, you should nourish them and keep then moisturized by using a vitamin E containing lip balm.
