Wedding shoes

Everyone from Sienna Miller to Selma Blair has been seen wearing low heeled oxfords by now. Until I saw this month's Vogue with Liya Kebede styled by Edward Enninful in several stunning gown and oxford combos, I wasn't convinced it could translate into bridal.

Could it ever.
I love the look of menswear inspired pieces mixed with uber-feminine gowns, the ultimate of which is a wedding gown. Putting the casual twist on an otherwise dressed up ensemble is best accomplished with only the perfect pair of oxfords. Look for sophisticated detailing and softly shaped soles. Lace is lovely as is color, but in my opinion, anything but a low heel misses the mark. Here are nine pairs that I think are wedding day worthy.
